The story
Warm rubber and a banked horizon
The beach that became a speedway
Daytona started on hard sand — machines timed between the dunes and the tide. By 1967 it had climbed onto thirty-one degrees of banking, but the beach never really left it.
We print this one on black and washed ivory: number plates, tank badges, chequered fragments broken up like they have been through a season of sun.
It is a racing story that ends at the water, so the collection ends in light — ivory pieces cut for the morning after.
